I’ve never been able to find much support but i just upgraded to Windows 10 today and this finally fixed it. I have just two problems after this. Windows 10 has removed the ability to blacklist updates without using this file Go through the steps and choose to ignore the VIA HD Audio update that is queued up. I installed the latest Windows 8. I’ve tried several drivers, but nothing works. Here’s the page with generic VIA drivers: I think I fixed it by enabling bass boost and virtual surround sound, well mostly.

This works but audko sound on Windows 8 was a lot better than it is now, I can hardly hear the bass even after fiddling with the sound enhancers.
I emailed their support and they said we cannot provide info at this time. Windows 10 – biggest Windows related subreddit for all things related to Windows This is the only driver that works for me.
I will try this approach. Required booting to safe mode for a couple of files.

I can’t get the bass or surround to work. The only thing I have not done yet is fully uninstall and reinstall the driver software. Spent a long time trying to find Win 10 drivers for my Vivobook’s internal speakers, and this comment got live audio with like 4 minutes’ worth of troubleshooting.
Xbox One – dedicated to Xbox One console and its peripherals, news and discussions. When i upgrade my windows to 10 and instal latest hd vdeck app there is no sound.! It’s h61mhvs not perfect.
You have to manually do the settings bass management, room correction from sound. Comments or posts that are disrespectful or encourage harassment of others including witch-hunts of any kind are not allowed.

Anyway link is h611m-hvs. Anyways, I do kinda need the vdeck installed and working since I commonly swap between having 5. My problem is when I plug my headphones in, it still playsback as speakers. Can probably google it, but I threw it up on mega incase it vanished for some reason.
Sleep and hibernate seem to break it as well.

Well because I am using my old as hell netgear WG usb wifi h661m-hvs with these exact drivers posted up in when Win10 was just a glint in old billy goat gates eyes http: The one up there is not working: But Windows keeps updating to some driver that doesn’t work.
Hi, Let’s use this article to fix the sound problems on Windows All non-Windows 10 specific drivers error out when they’re attempting to load, which causes Windows to default onto generic sound drivers. Audlo had the same issue.
General audik is also a lot louder, which is great it was very low on the old drivers.
Apple – Apple devices, services discussions. I also used to get a popup saying I plugged in my headphone jack, or if I plugged in my mic it would say I plugged in the mic. I’m not very technical so I don’t really know exactly how it all works.
