I suppose that wear and tear will do funny things but I was about to follow the instructions by Morganp and I thought I’d just clean the glass first before I start unscrewing things. It is depressing to have a product go bad right after a few months of use, and then to have horrible service from HP techs who have the gaul to recommend we spend more money on HP products pure greedand finally to have no decency to say hey, we have enough defective printers, let’s call them back or extend their warranties, which we pay for anyways.

Any warranty support needed would be completed by the reseller that sold the product. Seems good as new now.
